About
In the work, objects and plants in the path I walk on appear. When I was in school, the space where I could release my emotions every day was the 'road'. The way to and from school was the best and it was a place where I could produce emotions. The space 'path' is deeply attached to me. It was the same path every day, but every time my emotions were released, I felt that I grew little by little, and the more I did, the more the path I walked was a different path every day. Therefore, I felt grateful at every moment in the same daily life and I was happy.
Hercules used to say, "We cannot dip our feet in the same river twice," which means that the water for the first dip has already flowed downstream, so the water for the second dip is not the same river for the first dip. In other words, if we generalize this, the adage, "Everything is hereditary." If we expand this statement, it is to say that not only the river changes, but also me.
The path I walk is also fluid. The location of the walking path is the same, but it changes infinitely within the path. I don't think there is any same path as the walking path 'I' is constantly changing. I think 'I' and 'the path' are the same. Momentary emotions penetrate through me. Also, those emotions pass through and leave me remnants. The remnants accumulate to make 'I'. But the 'I' keeps changing because the remnants continue to accumulate even now.
The remnants of emotions are expressed by sand and brush touches. Sand is closely related to the road. That's why I used sand. Sand and brush touches are the remnants of emotions. Sand and brush touches are piled up to become the 'I' of the moment. The moment you complete the work, it changes constantly, so one touch is precious. I want to tell you this preciousness. The things we think we are familiar with and the same in our daily lives are constantly changing, and I am also changing in those places. In the end, there is nothing same in the world, so I want to cherish every moment and remember the emotions of the moment that are inadvertently excessive.
