About
Anyone who knows why to live can stand any situation.
When there was a self and the question of my existence came to mind, I thought I should die if I couldn't find a reason to live. I was able to continue my life at that time thanks to Damien Hirst's work, "What's Up Must Come Down." Through the work, I realized that a person's life repeats rising and falling like a cyclical season, and that if it is at the bottom now, I can go up again soon. They say that life is a comedy from afar and a tragedy from up close. I thought about what I could do in my life that repeats birth and death, and I vowed to work on blowing the will to live to someone unknown who would have lost the rudder, just as I was able to continue my life with the enlightenment I learned from works of art.

The meaning of life is to make it yourself.
When a person succeeds in finding meaning, it not only brings happiness but also gives them the power to endure trials. My work is a process of finding the meaning of life. There is virtually no meaning in life. When I say that, I think life is a journey that connects the meaning of life and sews it. Therefore, because human life is finite, they may be trying to record it in writing and painting and convey it to future generations. My image is probably a small effort to make human beings, who are very insignificant, engrave their names so that they are not just forgotten in history. Even if my story becomes one of the different stories of countless variations of people, and even if it is scattered and all disappeared, I want to open up the infinite potential that has yet to be revealed in what exists in this world. Such potential is not revealed unless you listen to its existence itself. I quietly respond to questions that come from my life through work.
