Most of them are, but as a woman, a happy wife, a happy mother...I want to have a happy family. My painting contains such a wish. There was a time when I focused on myself as an individual and as a woman, built a career, and improved my appearance. Then after I got married and became a mother of two, my life changed 180 degrees. I wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, take out a new item I bought and prepare for a date, and wake up the children with a face that disappears everywhere, prepares for school, and prepares breakfast. It begins a warlike morning. The body is not the same as before. Most women who give birth to children do not have strength in their wrists and develop minor incontinence. When the elasticity of the chest and stomach disappears and the clothes are worn, it is difficult to expect the same pretty S-line fit as before. Paradoxically, the mother's image of reaching the highest point of femininity that God has given women is not the most beautiful visually. From here, the question I ask the audience with my work begins. What is the true beauty of a woman... What do mothers, including me, look like today… We are mothers. I raise a child born in the form of an animal as a sacrifice of my bones and flesh. I want to be stronger than ever for my child, but we are also women, and sometimes we want to be infinitely weak and loved endlessly like weak glass bowls. My work is divided into two parts. The first is the character BB Popo, which contains children's childhood and daily fantasies, and works that try to humor the anxiety caused by the conflict between the mother's reality and ideals, and yet want to continue.

Born in 1986, the artist is currently living and working in Korea. She first worked as an illustrator and expanded her own world of work. Since then, he has been influenced by artists such as Park Seo-bo, Kim Hwan-ki, Lee Dong-ki, and Yoshitomo Nara, and has added depth to the world of works, inspired by various subcultures. Toachi recalls the children's childhoods and their childhoods and depicts a strange and fantasy world, capturing viewers' hearts by capturing lyrical and oriental sensibilities with subtle brush touches and rich colors. BB, a character with curious and playful eyes, and POPO, a cute younger brother, are characters of her two children who often appear in the work. And a honey bear represents her husband. Her work went beyond just drawing cute and pretty characters, and tried to capture the worries, conflicts, and growing pains that the writer felt as a child in the characters. The fantasy of reality and utopia, which were difficult to accept as a child, is shown in the work through the contrasting character of BB, POPO, and Honey Bear.
