About
The world view of the crumbs of stars, which is the basis of work, comes from a word from astronomer Carl Sagan. When I drew something that sparkles like a star in my work from a long time ago, my father said, "Your picture is based on facts," quoting Carl Sagan, "We are descendants of stars, and all the iron-like elements in the body and the atoms that make up DNA were created in the stars of the past, and we return to the remains of the stars through death." I focused on the essentials that make us what Carl Sagan is looking at. I thought that what makes the person I think is not just flesh, blood, organs, but the person's thoughts, emotions, experiences, and memories make him, so I began to express it as star dust and star crumbs.
Various iconography naturally appear in the work, mainly water and flowers. Water forms rough waves at the same time as calm, expressed by various emotions of humans. Flowers are actually rather scary and gross to me. Up close, leaf veins like veins, fur, and spots feel gross. Sometimes I wonder if this is pretty, but if I look at it, it's so lovely. Think of it as living and breathing and express it in connection with life. I chose to look at it as a method of handing over the message of the work. Eyes can melt more than a thousand words and convey them regardless of language, place, and time.
By interpreting it as crumbs of flowers and stars, it created the concept of flower oil. A meteor refers to an intrusive relationship in life. It works with multiple aspects that are involved, hurt, and happy with unwanted relationships. In the therapeutic process of observing and expressing the essence of humans in pictures, the heart of comforting me and comforting someone is contained on one side of the gaze in the work.
