In a diversifying society, modern people are forgetting what they prefer and want.
Suppressed by the social environment or the gaze of those around us, we are increasingly losing our individual identity and living by mistaking the standards and happiness that society wants for our own happiness.
I would like to express the psychological portraits of my generation, such as desire, fear, and confusion, using Icepainting (a technique that uses ice cubes of paint in a work when the right shape is detected) and my dream.
The lump of paint ice, which melts and is released from the set framework, was reminiscent of a human searching for desire, and the flow of water flowing in an unexpected form was used to express the nature of dreams developed in unrealistic logic. In reality, the object we see is shown in a second distorted form when the image is primarily distorted through memory, and the distorted memory is shown in the unconscious dream.
I draw a second-order distorted form and I experiment that it's different from the actual form, but people can see and recognize the whole picture
