About
the beauty of flowers in combination

"There are flowers of various colors in my work.
The fantastic beauty of that color
The instinct I want to keep forever
The actual flowers were used as ingredients and put into the work."

The beauty of flowers comes from colors. The color of nature is healing itself just by looking at it. Therefore, I tend to pay more attention to color than anything else when I work. Color is closely related to human psychology. Depending on the individual's experience and culture that they have lived in, they feel color-specific emotions or senses subjectively. As such, color is an important part of my work with psychological aesthetics, so it is emphasized repeatedly by changing the composition of the screen with my subjective intention. The colors overlapped with each other to indicate the difference in light and dark, and in order to emphasize the object and to express their own color, the flowers of natural objects themselves were attached to the canvas to capture the color. When I was young, I remember putting petals and leaves on the side of the road and drying them finely. At that time, the color faded after drying. The memory that excited me along with the preservation of the shape aspect of the faded color has now become a big part of nature's material in my work. The flowers attached during work must be free from deterioration and discoloration, so they are pressed and dried on a special drying mat. After four to five days, the flat-dried flower retains its color. Whenever the seasons change, the colors of nature evoke various emotions to me. The canvas captures the flowers of nature that have been worked on to convey those emotions of color. Rather than reproducing the actual appearance by attaching the object as it is, my work aims to express an extended intention to maximize the three-dimensional shape with natural colors. In the background, the watercolor's physical properties, smudges, and subtle colors react with natural flowers to create a harmonious rhythm. This is my own way to make you feel three-dimensional in a plane. The color of life that overcame adversity for a long time is contained in my work and completed as a picture. Flowers that are disorganized and bloom in their own style sing in their own language of color. In addition, we overcame all kinds of waves to sublimate the vitality that blossomed into a beauty that we want to keep by our side. I want to imply the infinite nature's mental world with the color of flowers obtained from nature, to know and feel the importance of human warmth and the value of my existence using nature as it is, and to combine the colors of nature with subtle watercolors to give a sense of the color of flowers in my painting world.
