About
The artist develops a painting study on the 'light of thought' under the theme of the flow of light and dynamic mobility encountered in the journey of life. In the work, the dynamic image of light is born as an image of wonder life by an ontological movement that continues to create and disappear in life. In other words, the flow of light across life and art is expressed as an art of dynamic creation on the screen by the inner movement flowing from the inside to the outside, from the outside to the inside of the artist. Based on this, the artist's art world embodies the 'world where light and life flow' by embodying the journey of life from the birth of brilliant light to the eternal future as a dynamic image.
The study of painting on light and mobility develops as a process of aggregating images of a moving state within a two-dimensional screen in terms of expression, and the work is completed as a dense work through an overlapping process of stacking paint in multiple layers over a long period of time. The traces of light scattered in the landscape and atmosphere at the border between visualization and visualization are captured in a dynamic expression of power in the process. The study of expression of movement intensifies, in particular, as the expression of color is dissolved in the surface of a huge canvas by the trajectory of paint that is dispersed and intersected in various directions during the process of creation. As light projects the world, it continuously forms an image of intense movement and flow by the material properties that float. The abstract action of the object constantly creates and transforms the instantaneous image of light and the regeneration of the power of its mobility into a dynamic image, and through this, it discovers the historical significance of art by presenting a new image of painting in the 21st century. In this way, the artist's perception of light in the art world develops into an art of creation that realizes artistic ideals while moving toward the process of synthesizing and presenting new images.
For the artist who has been painting continuously throughout his life, the space of art is a space of thought that reflects on the cosmic world from human life through the image of light encountered in daily life. As such, I hope for an art world that expands to the "light of creation" while staring and reflecting on the vitality of light that flows intensely in the journey of life and art every day.
